Senior Session | Krista | Minneapolis, MN

heyo everyone,

i would like to present the first senior portrait session of the year.  meet kristakrista is the little sister of one of my best buddies from high school so when she asked me to do her senior portraits there was no way i could say no.  krista said she wanted an atypical senior session, something that will be unique and memorable for years to come.  i told her she had come to the right person!  we started off the morning over in the sculpture gardens for some more traditional senior portraits.  having not been there for a while, i was pleasantly surprised by all of the neat areas we could take pictures.  after that we decided to move to a decidedly more urban setting for our mock fashion sesh.  as we arrived at the ruins of the pillsbury mills off of the mississippi i could tell that we were gonna have a great time.  the ruins/abandoned buildings of the area lent a decidedly unique feeling that will hopefully allow krista to remember her pics forever.  basically, i pulled the car on up, turned up some tunes and we started snapping away taking a ton of different photos in different areas and with a bunch of different poses.  while krista had never done a fashion session before lord knows she could for sure pull it off with her friendly personality, great looks, and willingness to try odd poses that i suggested.  one of the more nerve racking parts of the day was when the owner of the property drove from his office and came and asked us what we were doing, a cordial and respectful attitude allowed us to stay and many thanks to kip (the owner) if he’s reading this for allowing us to continue with our senior session.  anyhoo, after that we were pretty hot so we stopped by tuggs for a quick refresher and then ended up the day on the opposite side of the river.  krista was a great sport cause it got super hot that day with a heat index of over a 100 degrees.  regardless, we got many wonderful photos and i hope that you enjoy them krista!

per usual, feel free to leave a comment and thanks for reading,

evan
